Job Description:
The Oracle HCM Consultant will collaborate closely with Client's HR, data, and compliance teams to gather requirements, design technical solutions, develop Oracle-based applications, and support implementation for RIM and Legal Hold capabilities. The consultant will play a critical role in translating functional requirements into technical deliverables, ensuring compliance, data security, and successful production rollout.
Key Responsibilities
Functional & Business
β’ Conduct requirements gathering sessions with HR and compliance teams; document detailed user stories and PBIs in Azure DevOps (ADO).
β’ Analyze and update AN100 business requirement documents for Legal Hold and RIM applications.
β’ Work with cross-functional teams to design end-to-end Oracle HCM and ADW integration workflows.
β’ Develop Technical Specification Documents (DS140) detailing data flows, mappings, and transformation logic.
β’ Collaborate on UAT planning and execution, ensuring traceability between requirements and test cases.
Technical
β’ Develop and implement Oracle HCM-related RIM and Legal Hold functionality for archived HR data.
β’ Build PL/SQL packages, stored procedures, and triggers to automate legal hold tagging and data retention.
β’ Support development of a VB-based front-end interface for managing legal hold entries and queries.
β’ Create and maintain audit tables, validation reports, and compliance dashboards within ADW.
β’ Assist with migration packaging, deployment validation, and Hypercare support post go-live.
β’ Ensure all interfaces and scripts meet security and compliance standards.
Testing & Delivery
β’ Execute Unit Testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) cycles.
β’ Log and track defects in ADO; coordinate fixes and re-validation.
β’ Provide comprehensive documentation and knowledge transfer to technical teams.
Required Qualifications
β’ 8+ years of hands-on experience as an Oracle HCM Functional/Technical Consultant.
β’ Expertise in Oracle HCM Core HR, Data Migration, Integrations, and PL/SQL development.
β’ Experience with RIM, Legal Hold, or data retention/compliance systems preferred.
β’ Proficient in Azure DevOps (ADO) for backlog, test case, and defect management.
β’ Strong understanding of data warehousing (ADW) and HR data archiving strategies.
β’ Proven ability to translate complex business requirements into technical design deliverables (AN100, DS140).
β’ Excellent documentation, testing, and stakeholder communication skills.
Preferred Skills
β’ Prior experience with large financial institutions.
β’ Working knowledge of VB/Visual Basic front-end integration with Oracle databases.
β’ Understanding of data governance, audit compliance, and information lifecycle management.
β’ Familiarity with Hypercare support, Go-Live validation, and post-deployment issue resolution.
