Key Responsibilities: • We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Oracle PL/SQL Developer to join our global engineering team responsible for building, enhancing, and supporting high-performance enterprise applications for the Financial Services and Trading industry. • The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL development, database performance tuning, Oracle architecture, and large-scale data processing. • This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, a passion for writing clean and efficient code, and the ability to work collaboratively in an Agile environment while delivering scalable, secure, and mission-critical solutions Key Requirements and Technology Experience: • Must have skills:- Oracle PL/SQL Development • Oracle Database & SQL • Stored Procedures, Packages, Functions, Triggers • SQL Performance Tuning (AWR, ASH, Explain Plan) • Oracle RAC & ASM • Oracle Data Guard/RMAN • Data Modeling (Schema Design, Normalization, Partitioning) • Git/Jira • 8+ years of hands-on experience as an Oracle PL/SQL Developer, Oracle Database Developer, Oracle Database Engineer, or Oracle DBA. • Expert-level knowledge of Oracle Database, SQL, and PL/SQL programming. • Strong experience designing, developing, and optimizing: • Stored Procedures • Packages • Functions • Triggers • Views • Materialized Views • Sequences • Synonyms • Extensive experience writing and optimizing complex SQL queries for high-volume transactional systems. • Strong understanding of Oracle security concepts, including: • User Privileges • Object Privileges • Roles and Access Control • Proven experience in SQL and PL/SQL performance tuning using: • SQL Tuning • PL/SQL Tuning • Execution Plan Analysis • Explain Plan • Oracle Optimizer • AWR Reports • ASH Reports • SQL Trace • Experience identifying and resolving database performance bottlenecks across SQL, PL/SQL, storage, and infrastructure layers.
