Role description
Job Summary: This role focuses on data analytics for revenue cycle management within the DoD. Responsibilities include analyzing large datasets, building dashboards, developing predictive models, and identifying process improvements to optimize revenue cycle performance. The position also involves leading teams, producing reports for senior stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with data regulations. Key Responsibilities: β€’ Analyze multi-source revenue cycle data (e.g., Cerner, MHS GENESIS). β€’ Develop interactive dashboards in Power BI/Tableau/Qlik Sense. β€’ Build predictive models using Python, R, SQL, or SAS. β€’ Identify and quantify process improvement opportunities. β€’ Lead cross-functional teams, track benefits, and produce executive reports. β€’ Mentor junior analysts and maintain documentation. β€’ Ensure compliance with HIPAA and cybersecurity standards. Required Skills: β€’ Knowledge of revenue cycle management and healthcare processes. β€’ Proficiency in EHR systems (Cerner), billing/claims software, and data tools (Power BI, Tableau, SQL). β€’ Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills. β€’ Eligibility for DoD public-trust clearance. Preferred Qualifications: β€’ 5+ years of RCM analytics experience (3+ years in DoD or large healthcare settings). β€’ Agile or hybrid-waterfall experience. β€’ Relevant degree (Master’s preferred) and certifications (HFMA CRCR, RHIA/RHIT, etc.).
