Role description
Organisation Effectiveness (OE) Analyst – HR Insights
Location: Nottingham
Working pattern: 5 days per week, onsite
Contract length: 6 months
Rate: £DOE inside IR35
We’re looking for an Organisation Effectiveness (OE) Analyst to support organisation design and people insight initiatives through data-led analysis. This role sits within HR and works closely with HR business partners and cross-functional stakeholders to help shape effective, healthy organisational structures.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys working with data, understanding how organisations are structured, and translating insight into clear, actionable recommendations.
What you’ll be doing
• Analyse organisation and people data to support organisation design initiatives
• Assess spans, layers, hierarchies and organisational health metrics
• Build models and scenarios to understand the impact of organisational changes
• Create dashboards and reports that provide clear insight into the organisation's effectiveness
• Translate complex data into meaningful stories for non-technical stakeholders
• Collaborate with HR and business teams to support evidence-based decision-making
• Handle sensitive data with a high level of confidentiality and accuracy
What we’re looking for
• Experience analysing and reporting on large datasets (strong Excel skills essential)
• Confidence working with stakeholders across different business areas
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Ability to present data clearly through visualisation and storytelling
• Organised, curious, and comfortable working in a fast-moving environment
Nice to have
• Experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools
• Exposure to organisation design tools such as OrgVue or OrgBuilder
• Basic knowledge of coding or data languages (e.g. VBA, DAX, R)
• Previous experience in an HR, people analytics, or organisation design environment
