Role description
Job Title: Palantir Data Engineer Location: Houston TX/ Denver CO Contract Job Description We are seeking a skilled Palantir Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines and workflows using Palantir Foundry. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in data engineering, ETL processes, and cloud platforms, with the ability to collaborate across business and technical teams to deliver high-quality data solutions. Responsibilities β€’ Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and workflows in Palantir Foundry. β€’ Ingest, transform, and model structured and unstructured data for analytics and reporting. β€’ Collaborate with business analysts, data scientists, and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver data-driven solutions. β€’ Optimize ETL processes for performance, scalability, and reliability. β€’ Implement data governance, security, and compliance best practices. β€’ Troubleshoot and resolve data integration and quality issues. β€’ Automate workflows and support CI/CD for data engineering solutions. Required Skills β€’ Hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry (Data Pipelines, Ontology, Code Workbooks). β€’ Strong programming skills in Python and/or Java/Scala for data processing. β€’ Proficiency in SQL for querying and transforming large datasets. β€’ Experience with big data frameworks (Spark, Hadoop) and ETL tools. β€’ Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure). β€’ Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes). β€’ Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Preferred Qualifications β€’ Experience working with Palantir Apollo or other Palantir modules. β€’ Knowledge of data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Foundry dashboards). β€’ Background in data governance, security, and compliance. β€’ Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
