Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Palantir Foundry Consultant / Full Stack Developer to support Claims and Underwriting initiatives for a leading insurance client. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Palantir Foundry, data engineering, and application development, with the ability to work directly with business and technical stakeholders to design and deliver scalable data solutions.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Collaborate with cross-functional teams and client stakeholders to solve complex business challenges utilizing Palantir Foundry.
β’ Lead and contribute to technical solution design, architecture, and implementation efforts.
β’ Advise stakeholders on Foundry capabilities, data workflows, governance, and best practices.
β’ Design, develop, and deploy data pipelines, ontologies, and business applications within the Foundry platform.
β’ Configure and maintain data lineage, data integrations, repositories, governance controls, and security settings.
β’ Develop scalable, high-quality solutions that align with business and technical requirements.
β’ Ensure adherence to data governance, security, and development standards.
β’ Partner with cloud and enterprise technology teams to support production-ready solutions.
β’ Adapt and extend solutions across related technology stacks as business needs evolve.
Required Qualifications
β’ 3+ years of hands-on Palantir Foundry experience.
β’ Proven experience implementing end-to-end solutions within Palantir Foundry.
β’ Strong expertise with:
β’ Data Lineage
β’ Data Connections
β’ Pipeline Builder
β’ Code Repositories
β’ Ontology (Object Types, Properties, and Links)
β’ Functions
β’ Action Types
β’ Workshop
β’ Quiver / Contour
β’ Experience administering and supporting Foundry Governance and Security features, including:
β’ Projects & User Groups
β’ Security Markings
β’ Access Controls
β’ Strong background in Data Engineering and/or Data Science.
β’ Advanced programming skills in Python (PySpark preferred).
β’ Strong JavaScript or TypeScript development experience.
β’ Advanced SQL knowledge.
β’ Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS and/or Azure.
β’ Strong understanding of data governance, semantic layers, ontology modeling, and enterprise data architecture.
β’ Excellent communication, consulting, and stakeholder management skills.
β’ Ability to work independently in a client-facing environment.
Preferred Qualifications
β’ Experience with Palantir AIP (Artificial Intelligence Platform).
β’ Experience with machine learning operationalization and model industrialization.
β’ Familiarity with Jupyter Notebooks, Code Workbook, and Modeling Objectives.
β’ Prior experience in the Insurance industry, specifically Claims and Underwriting.
β’ Full Stack Development experience preferred.
