Role description
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Palantir Foundry Developer to join our Data & Analytics practice. You will collaborate with clients, PMs, data scientists, and other teams to design and develop impactful data driven AI solutions. This role requires a strong understanding of data structures, modeling, integration, and software development principles.
Key Responsibilities:
• Elicit and understand requirements, seek clarifications from Product owners
• Collaborate with multiple stakeholders - data scientists and business to translate requirements into functional specs
• Design and develop data mappings to develop pipelines and workflows within Palantir Foundry
• Develop Ontology objects to manage and reason over data
• Configure and maintain data integrations from disparate source systems into Foundry
• Write efficient and maintainable code in languages such as Python, Java, and/or SQL
• Develop and maintain Foundry applications and workflows using Code Repositories
• Perform data analysis and data quality checks to ensure the accuracy and reliability of data within Foundry.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Foundry applications and data pipelines.
• Effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Participate in project planning and estimation activities.
• Work collaboratively within agile development methodologies.
What You Will Need:
• 5-8 years of experience in software development and data engineering
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience developing solutions with Palantir Foundry
• Strong understanding of data modeling principles and data warehousing concepts.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Python, Java, or Scala.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases.
• Experience with data integration tools and techniques (e.g., ETL, data ingestion).
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills
