Description
We are seeking a Sr. Business Intelligence Engineer/Analyst to join our dynamic team! This role offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with diverse stakeholders, drive data-driven decision-making, and contribute to impactful business initiatives.
What You'll Do
• Plan and execute advanced data analytics projects with strategic impact.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to complete projects and drive insights.
• Utilize SQL, Snowflake, Sigma, Python, SSIS, and/or Business Objects to extract, mine, and automate data from internal systems.
• Implement Kimball methodology and develop data feeds for enterprise reporting.
• Design and develop Power BI dashboards and paginated reports to present business trends.
• Build and nurture relationships with clients by developing tailored reports and data solutions.
• Lead quantitative research projects, from business problem identification to model development and communication of results.
• Analyze financial and operational systems, interpret data, and develop actionable insights for leadership teams.
• Participate in key company initiatives, including product/system development, process improvements, and M& A due diligence.
• Serve as a subject matter expert, mentoring and supporting colleagues as needed.
• Maintain strong partnerships with business teams to ensure high utilization of reporting services.
• Present regular updates and analysis to leadership, identifying opportunities for operational enhancements.
Requirements
What You Bring:
Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Experience
• Minimum 6 years in databases, data warehousing, data mining, or analytics.
• At least 3 years working with SQL, Snowflake, and/or Oracle.
• At least 3 years using advanced quantitative and analytical problem-solving.
• 2+ years reporting experience with tools such as Power BI, SSRS, Sigma, and/or MicroStrategy.
• Additional skills with SSIS, Python, Kafka, and Informer are a plus.
Skills
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written) to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to lead and work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
