Job Title – Data Scientist (Partner Marketing Analyst) Location: 100% Remote US Duration: 15 Months Role Overview This role sits within Partner Marketing organization, supporting analytics, reporting, data modeling, and insights for a large ecosystem of ~1,000 partners. The analyst will own the data infrastructure, pipeline metrics, dashboards, and insights that drive decision-making and growth in partner-sourced revenue. This is a growth opportunity to gain deep exposure to channel ecosystem. Key Responsibilities 1. Analyze Partner Marketing Performance • Analyze trends in partner marketing activities and their impact on: • Partner-sourced pipeline • Customer growth • Lead generation through partner campaigns • Partner engagement (e.g., activity in the Partner Marketing Center) 1. Own Partner Marketing Data Model & KPIs • Maintain all dimensions, definitions, and KPIs including: • Marketing-influenced partner-sourced pipeline • Unique domains • Development Fund ROI (DF ROI) • Activities & partner segmentation • Ensure partner marketing data integrates into the core Marketing analytics stack, not siloed. 1. Define & Manage Conversion + ROI Metrics Examples: • Lead-to-opportunity conversion rates • Development Fund ROI (e.g., 15x vs 8x without partner marketing) • Average deal size (with/without partner marketing) • Cloud ACV & cloud choice rate 1. Build & Maintain Dashboards + Reports Own Tableau and Salesforce dashboards such as: • Partner Marketing OKRs • Partner Influenced Pipeline views • Filters such as: • Managed vs unmanaged partners • Influenced vs non-influenced opportunities • DF vs non-DF • Region, solution, platform, fiscal period Publish quarterly summaries (example: FY25 Influence Summary, FY26 Q1 partner-sourced pipeline). 1. Ensure Alignment with Core Marketing • Standardize definitions across GTM (e.g., “influenced pipeline”). • Collaborate with Marketing Analytics + Marketing Ops to integrate partner metrics into broader scorecards. 1. Strategic Insight & Decision Support Use data to guide: • Partner prioritization • Scaling tactics & solutions in the Partner Marketing Center • Allocation of Development Funds (DF) and MDF • Partner enablement insights • Program KPI definition • Recommendations and measurement of outcomes 1. Data Quality & Collaboration • Work with vendors, data engineers, and stakeholders to ensure high data standards. • Collaborate cross-functionally with: • Marketers • Product teams • Senior leadership Daily Responsibilities • Apply statistics, ML, simulation, and advanced mathematics to identify patterns and opportunities. • Generate and test hypotheses; interpret product experiment results. • Work with engineers to convert prototypes into production-ready features. • Provide BI and visualization support across dashboards (e.g., customer service dashboards). • Perform ad hoc data analysis as needed.
