This role emphasizes deep hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune, SCCM, PowerShell scripting, and advanced Excel skills. Ideal for someone who thrives in a regulated, high-uptime environment like gaming or hospitality.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, execute, and optimize patching strategies using Microsoft Intune and SCCM across hybrid environments (workstations, servers, kiosks).
• Manage application and OS patch compliance enterprise-wide—across both on-prem and cloud-managed devices.
• Develop and maintain robust PowerShell scripts to automate patching, software packaging, reporting, and vulnerability remediation.
• Use Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data models, conditional logic) to track patch compliance, deployment trends, and exceptions.
• Create and test application deployment packages, troubleshoot installation failures, and lead escalation efforts when required.
• Monitor and resolve Intune and SCCM client health issues, ensuring devices remain in a compliant and reportable state.
• Collaborate with Security and Vulnerability Management teams to ensure patch coverage aligns with emerging threats and internal policy.
• Configure complex maintenance windows and phased rollouts to ensure minimal disruption to business operations.
• Partner with Service Desk and Desktop Support teams to ensure consistent endpoint configuration and performance.
• Generate detailed compliance, health, and performance reports for leadership, audit, and regulatory bodies.
• Support SOX and Nevada Gaming Control Board compliance through documentation and controlled execution of updates.
• Participate in cross-functional projects related to device management, OS upgrades, and endpoint security hardening.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Authorization to work in the U.S.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or equivalent professional experience.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Nevada Gaming Control Board Registration.
• 3–5 years of experience in endpoint management, patching, and enterprise device support.
• Deep experience with:
• Microsoft Intune (Endpoint Manager) for policy and patch deployment.
• SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager) for application/package deployment and compliance management.
• PowerShell scripting for automation, remediation, and reporting.
• Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, automation-friendly formatting, macros a plus).
• Strong working knowledge of:
• Windows OS internals, registry, and group policy.
• Endpoint and server patching in a mixed environment (cloud/on-prem).
• ITIL processes (Change, Incident, Problem, etc.).
• Excellent problem-solving and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in high-uptime, regulated environments.
Preferred Certifications (Not Required):
• Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate
• Microsoft Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate
