Payroll Manager

Client: Entertainment Provider Job Title: Payroll Operations Accounting Techno-Functional Manager Location: York 10036 - Onsite Role Job duration: 07 months (Extension/Conversion will be based on performance) Pay Range: ($80-$90) hourly, depending upon the experience. Description: • Support Payroll Operations during Oracle Fusion implementation by validating, reconciling, and testing payroll data to ensure accuracy and compliance. Responsibilities: • Validate and reconcile payroll, union, and costing data in Oracle Fusion • Perform parallel payroll testing, UAT, and end-to-end testing • Identify, document, and help resolve payroll discrepancies/defects • Analyze payroll results and reconcile with the General Ledger (GL) • Support payroll audits and ensure data accuracy/compliance • Collaborate with Payroll & Tech teams to resolve issues • Use advanced Excel for data analysis, reporting, and reconciliation Must-Have Skills (Deal Breakers) • Advanced Excel (data analysis, reconciliation, reporting) • Strong payroll accounting knowledge • Experience with data reconciliation & validations • Knowledge of General Ledger (GL) / payroll costing • Ability to work independently under tight deadlines Required Experience • Payroll Operations / Shared Services background • Experience with Ora\_cle HCM / ERP systems (or similar) • Hands-on experience in payroll data analysis, audits, and testing Nice to Have • Oracle Fusion experience • UAT / system testing experience • Experience with ERP/HCM implementations or migrations • Knowledge of payroll compliance & regulations Ideal Candidate • Payroll Analyst / Payroll Systems Analyst with strong Excel, reconciliation, GL knowledge, and experience in payroll testing/UAT within an ERP environment.
