Overview:
We are seeking an experienced P&C Insurance Domain Expert to lead data analytics projects within our organization. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the P&C insurance industry—covering Policy Administration, Billing, Claims, and Reinsurance—along with strong expertise in data analytics involving data lakes, warehouses, marts, and cubes. Hands-on experience in use cases such as actuarial triangles, regulatory dashboards, KPI tracking, and successful data analytics initiatives is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Policy Administration
Managed quoting, rating, underwriting, policy issuance, endorsements, renewals, and cancellations.
Worked with tools such as Guidewire PolicyCenter and Duck Creek.
Experience with policy admin data components: product models, customer attributes, and risk factors.
Supported integrations with CRM, payment gateways, and general ledger systems.
Billing Management
Oversaw the complete billing and collections cycle.
Experience with installment schedules, payment modes, and commission disbursement.
Managed integrations with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
Claims Management
Supported intake, triage, segmentation, loss assessment, and settlement processes.
Applied technologies such as NLP, OCR, and ML for fraud detection and predictive analytics.
Worked with tools like ClaimCenter, RPA bots, and virtual chatbots.
Reinsurance
Strong functional exposure to reinsurance processes and requirements.
Data & Analytics
Delivered reporting, compliance, operational insights, and troubleshooting data lineage.
Worked extensively with data lakes, warehouses, marts, and cubes.
Hands-on with actuarial triangles, regulatory dashboards, and KPI tracking.
Integration & Ecosystem
Connected core systems with third-party services and internal platforms.
Experience working with APIs for ADAS, OEMs, and external data sources.
Exposure to platforms such as Unqork, Outsystems, Smart COMM, and ServiceNow.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
5–10 years of experience in the P&C insurance domain, with a focus on data analytics projects.
Strong knowledge of P&C insurance products, policy administration, billing, underwriting, claims, and regulatory requirements.
Proficiency in data analytics tools and techniques.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication and presentation skills to engage with stakeholders effectively.
