Role - PEGA Developer
Location - Leeds or Bristol
Working Mode - Hybrid
Long term.
Roles and Responsibilities
Design and Development:
· Develop and implement Pega BPM applications.
· Design class structures, application frameworks, and data models.
· Create and maintain reusable components, templates, and frameworks.
· Lead the design and development of Pega CLM/KYC implementations.
System Integration:
· Integrate Pega applications with external systems using Pega integration tools.
· Develop and implement RESTful and Security web services.
Requirement Analysis:
· Collaborate with business analysts to capture and translate business requirements into technical specifications.
· Participate in requirement gathering sessions, providing technical input.
Quality Assurance:
· Perform unit testing to ensure code quality.
· Assist in system testing and user acceptance testing (UAT).
Technical Support:
· Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Pega applications.
· Perform application maintenance and enhancements.
Documentation:
· Create and maintain technical documentation, including design documents and code annotations.
Best Practices and Standards:
· Adhere to coding standards and best practices.
· Ensure compliance with Pega design and development principles.
· Conduct code and design reviews.
Continuous Improvement:
· Stay updated with the latest Pega features and technologies.
· Participate in training sessions to enhance skills.
Experience:
· Proven experience as a Pega Developer.
· Hands-on project experience with Pega Customer Service Framework and Pega CLM/KYC implementations will be added benefit but not must.
· Familiarity with SQL databases and their integration with the Pega Platform.
Certifications:
· Pega Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA) or Lead System Architect (v8 preferred).
Technical Skills
Core Technical Competencies:
· Strong knowledge of Pega architecture, design patterns, and development tools.
· Proficiency in Pega PRPC, BPM, and CRM platforms.
· Experience with Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and XML.
· Understanding of databases like Oracle, SQL Server, and MySQL.
· Knowledge of web services, REST, and API integrations.
Debugging and Analysis:
· Experience with Pega’s OOTB debugging/analysis tools such as Tracer, Clipboard, and PAL.
