Role description
About Us
Olive Jar Digital partners with public sector organisations to deliver meaningful, user-focused digital services. We are currently supporting a major public sector client on a programme focused on helping disabled people and those with health conditions move closer to sustainable employment.
About The Role
We are looking for a Digital Performance Analyst to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. You will work closely with the clientβs innovation hubs β test environments where staff, customers, and policy teams collaborate to try new ways of supporting people with health conditions and disabilities.
This is a critical role that will help the team measure performance, assess impact, and iterate based on evidence. You will be responsible for developing performance frameworks, designing KPIs, supporting AB testing, and turning data into insights that inform decision-making and service improvement.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Develop and maintain performance measurement frameworks, including KPIs, to evaluate how the service meets user needs and supports programme objectives.
β’ Ensure alignment with the Governmentβs Digital Service Standard and encourage evidence-driven design and iteration.
β’ Work with stakeholders across multiple services to gather and analyse data.
β’ Use a variety of data sources, including operational and back-end service data, to provide actionable insights.
β’ Lead and support the development of testing approaches, including AB testing and experimentation.
β’ Present complex data in a clear, compelling way to influence stakeholders and inform change.
β’ Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and collaboration within the team.
Key Skills & Experience
β’ Strong background in performance analysis and KPI development.
β’ Experience working within cross-functional teams in a digital or public sector environment.
β’ Proficiency in analysis and visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI).
β’ Strong SQL programming skills and ability to quickly learn new tools and techniques.
β’ Experience with AB testing and trial design.
β’ Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills β able to turn data into actionable stories.
β’ Understanding of security and data privacy considerations.
