Performance and Data Analyst | £24 - £33 We're working with a leading public sector workforce solutions provider helping to transform local government services on this exciting opportunity. Are you ready to use your technical expertise to improve the lives of children and young people? We are looking for a data-driven specialist to lead on SEND performance insights, utilizing tools like Power BI and SQL to transform complex datasets into strategic intelligence for nearly 100 schools across London. The Role • Lead the delivery of critical statutory SEND data returns, including the SEN2, ensuring 100% accuracy and compliance with DfE requirements. • Develop and maintain advanced data systems and automated reporting tools to support strategy, performance, and intelligence objectives. • Build and roll out dynamic Power BI dashboards that provide senior leaders and elected members with real-time performance visibility. • Translate complex operational requirements into technical data specifications, collaborating closely with ICT for system upgrades and SQL database management. • Act as a strategic consultant for schools, resolving validation errors and ensuring robust data-driven decision-making across the borough. What You'll Need • Extensive experience in data manipulation and statistical analysis using Power BI, SQL, or specialized education management systems. • Proven track record of handling statutory returns (ideally SEN2) and working with large-scale datasets in a public sector or education environment. • Strong technical proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, Macros) combined with the ability to communicate insights to non-technical stakeholders. • Sharp attention to detail with experience in data validation, GDPR compliance, and translating legislative policy into technical workflows. • A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to manage complex projects within tight statutory deadlines.
