Genesis10 is currently seeking a Ping Identity Developer (IAM Specialist) for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Plano, TX. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining secure identity and access management solutions to ensure seamless authentication and authorization across an enterprise ecosystem. The ideal candidate has deep technical expertise in the Ping Identity Suite (PingFederate, PingAccess, PingDirectory) and a passion for building secure, scalable, and user-friendly identity workflows. Responsibilities: • Configure and manage PingFederate and PingAccess to support enterprise-wide Single Sign-On (SSO) and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) requirements • Design and implement integrations between Ping and various SaaS/on-prem applications using standard protocols such as SAML 2.0, OIDC, OAuth 2.0, and WS-Federation • Manage PingDirectory (or similar LDAP-based directories) to ensure high availability, data consistency, and optimal performance of identity stores • Develop custom adapters, plug-ins, or extensions within the Ping ecosystem (using Java or Groovy) to meet unique business requirements • Enforce enterprise security policies, including role-based access control (RBAC), attribute-based access control (ABAC), and data encryption standards • Serve as the primary technical point of contact for resolving complex authentication and integration issues, performing log analysis to identify bottlenecks • Automate user lifecycle management (provisioning/deprovisioning) workflows to ensure audit readiness and compliance Requirements: • 4+ years of experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM), with at least 2+ years specifically working with the Ping Identity Suite • Deep understanding of identity protocols: SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), and SCIM • Proven hands-on experience with PingFederate (Policy configuration, Adapters) and PingAccess • Proficiency in managing directory services (PingDirectory, Active Directory, or OpenLDAP) and working with LDIF/schemas • Ability to write custom code or scripts (Java, Groovy, Python, or PowerShell) to enhance platform functionality • Understanding of web servers (IIS, Apache, Nginx) and how they integrate with access management solutions Pay range: $58.26 - $66.26 per hour Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
