PLM Data Migration Lead

Title: PLM Data Migration Lead Duration: 6–9 months contract Location: Remote, with approximately 50% travel to client sites (3 days per week). Sites are located in Wisconsin, Illinois, and Ohio. Client is in the Food & Beverage Packaging industry that manages complex materials and formulation processes. Currently operating two legacy systems that feed into Oracle PLM. Only half of their sites are using PLM today, while the remaining locations rely on manual processes. A key objective is to consolidate all processes into a centralized, scalable hub that supports R&D and Engineering across all sites. They’re in the early stages of selecting a new PLM solution that can manage their complex production processes and assembling the internal project team. They are still evaluating potential systems and open to additional recommendations that better align with their business needs. An internal Project Manager who understands their processes in depth has been identified and they are now looking to hire a technical counterpart that will advise will act as the subject matter expert to lead all the data migration, integration, consolidation, cleansing, and governance. This role is PLM-agnostic—the ideal candidate will have broad exposure to multiple PLM platforms—however, deep expertise in process manufacturing is essential. The specialist will play a critical role in shaping the future-state data architecture, ensuring data integrity, and guiding the organization through a complex transformation as they move toward a unified PLM ecosystem.
