PL/SQL Developer
Hybrid (4 days on-site, 1 day remote)
Eligible locations: St. Louis, Charlotte, Denver

Summary
Exciting opportunity to join a fast growing team developing automation solutions for Charterβs database, storage and database security teams. We are looking to bring on a team player to augment the current development team where you will utilize your development knowledge and experience. This opportunity calls for a person who owns success at the solution level and is well versed in developing scripts and utilizing configuration management tools for automating infrastructure/environmental changes. This team is also responsible to provide an accurate asset inventory and other information via reporting and dash boarding to IT Management.
Role requirements
β’ Engage with development teams to gather requirements and design UI pages and enhancements to deliver on those requirements for Infrastructure teams which we are aligned.
β’ Collaborate with operational teams to advise and establish standards that enable automation capabilities
β’ Experience with PLSQL, REST and related technologies that contribute to the develop of ETLs that provide data warehouse content and for the delivery of analytics
β’ Provide clear, concise, and organized documentation to establish and maintain standards and procedures
Experience
β’ Experience with Web/UI development and object oriented development
β’ Experience in scripting languages such as Perl/Python/Bash
β’ Experience with cloud technology (AWS/Azure) a plus
β’ Strong SQL query knowledge and experience in developing solutions in Oracle PL/SQL
β’ Experience with Oracle APEX a huge plus
β’ Experience with data warehousing Star Schema or Data Vault models a plus
β’ Understanding of DevOps practices and techniques such as Infrastructure automation, Continuous Testing & Integration (CI/CD), Continuous delivery.
β’ Understanding of SDLC and DevOps related tooling, such as Github/Bitbucket, Ansible, Terraform, Puppet/Chef, Jenkins or similar tools
β’ Experience importing/transforming data from disparate sources such as for data warehousing (ETL)
β’ Ability to work well in a team environment, takes ownership of success at the solution level, as well as maintaining a flexible attitude are a must
β’ Ability to quickly diagnose the problem areas and come up with solutions and/or workarounds.
