ROLE IS ONSITE IN HOUSTON TEXAS [No Remote]
We are seeking an experienced Oracle PL/SQL Developer to design, develop, and maintain database applications and support enterprise solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in PL/SQL programming, performance tuning, and database optimization, along with experience working in Agile environments.
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Design, develop, and optimize complex PL/SQL stored procedures, functions, packages, and triggers.
β’ Perform query optimization, performance tuning, and debugging for large datasets.
β’ Develop and maintain ETL processes to support data integration and migration.
β’ Collaborate with application developers, architects, and business analysts to ensure database design aligns with business requirements.
β’ Support data modeling, schema design, indexing, and partitioning strategies.
β’ Ensure compliance with database security, backup, and recovery standards.
β’ Work with Agile/Scrum teams to deliver high-quality database solutions on time.
β’ Provide production support for Oracle databases and troubleshoot performance issues.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
β’ 5β10 years of hands-on experience with Oracle PL/SQL development.
β’ Strong knowledge of SQL, Oracle 11g/12c/19c databases.
β’ Expertise in performance tuning, query optimization, and execution plans.
β’ Experience with ETL tools (Informatica, ODI, SSIS, etc.) is a plus.
β’ Familiarity with Unix/Linux scripting for automation.
β’ Knowledge of Agile methodologies, version control (Git), and CI/CD pipelines.
β’ Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
