Job Title: Oracle PL/SQL Developer Location: Charlotte, NC Duration: 12 Month Contract Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle PL/SQL Developer with strong database development experience and a working knowledge of modern DevOps tools and job scheduling systems. This role will support enterprise-level application development, database scripting, and automation efforts across production and development environments. Responsibilities: • Develop, optimize, and maintain complex PL/SQL stored procedures, packages, triggers, and scripts within Oracle databases. • Write and execute advanced SQL queries for data analysis, transformation, and reporting. • Maintain and troubleshoot existing Oracle database environments and tune SQL/PLSQL for performance. • Create and maintain Unix Shell scripts to support batch jobs and system-level automation. • Work with Autosys Scheduler to manage and monitor scheduled jobs and workflows. • Support CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and other DevOps tools. • Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams. • Follow best practices in source control, code reviews, and deployment processes. Required Skills: • 6+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL development. • Proficient in Oracle Database architecture, performance tuning, and advanced SQL concepts. • 2–4 years of experience with Unix Shell scripting. • Familiarity with Autosys Scheduler for job automation and batch processing. • Experience with CI/CD practices and version control using GitHub. • Exposure to Agile delivery environments with 1–2 years of Agile team collaboration. • Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills. Nice to Have: • Exposure to DevOps tools like Jenkins, Docker, or Ansible. • Familiarity with Python or other scripting languages. • Experience supporting production database environments in a regulated industry. Education: • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
