This includes both batch and online systems. Perform the full ragne of project software activities (discover requirements, design/assess software packages, develop, deploy and document). Assess and correct performance issues with SQL & PL/SQL. Callouts: - Role is remote with potential need for travel to quarterly meetings - Candidates in EST or PST only - Need strong understanding of Oracle, PL/SQL, and design principals Requirements: 4 year college degree in technical field or at least 8 years of relevant experience required. Self motivated, customer focused and a team player - must have proven problem-solving skills along with strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Strong skills in Oracle database technologies 9i, 10g, 11g. At least 5 years of PL/SQL experience including creating/modifying tables, packages, stored procedures, triggers, indexes, etc. Experience with assessing SQL and PL/SQL performance including use of explain plans and TKPROF. Experience with Unix/Linux preferred.
