PL/SQL Developer

Job Title: Senior PL/SQL Java/AI Developer Location: Fully Remote Duration: 12+ months contract USC/GC only Required Skills and Experience • 8+ years of IT experience • 8+ years of PL/SQL development experience • Experience with UNIX, MS Windows Server • Hands-on experience with: Oracle Java (Spring Framework) PL/SQL Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, JSON SQL Developer, JDeveloper Shell Scripting UNIX/Linux • Expertise in creating and maintaining complex PL/SQL code/packages spanning multiple schemas • Direct customer interaction to resolve issues or identify new requirements • Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) • Strong attention to detail in high-pressure situations • Confident and skilled in problem-solving • Ability to work independently and within a team • Proficiency in Microsoft Office • Excellent written and oral communication skills • Strong time management skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously • Willingness to learn and acquire new knowledge • Works on high-visibility or mission-critical aspects of a program, performs duties independently • Oversees the efforts of reporting resources and/or responsible for staff assigned to a specific job Education • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, with 10+ years of experience (or commensurate experience) Responsibilities • Create and maintain web pages using Oracle MOD PL/SQL packages • Maintain the existing applications and enhance the system as per client requirements • Extensive Oracle database experience • Modify existing batches to incorporate new functionalities • UNIX Shell scripting • Analyze system issues and devise and execute remediation plans • Perform code reviews and bug fixing • Conduct performance tuning of existing queries and packages • Comply with all required standards and processes and devise approaches to ensure compliance across the team • Provide complete technical and maintenance support to the systems • Run the assigned projects solo as well as working as a team • Provide round-the-clock support as needed for the assigned tasks Experience using AI-assisted development tools for enhanced productivity
