Role description
Population Health Management Analyst
Ribble are delighted to be assisting London Borough of Bexley in sourcing a highly skilled Population Health Management Analyst to join their Public Health Directorate for an initial 26-week temporary assignment.
Location : Civic Offices, 2 Watling Street, Bexleyheath, Kent, DA6 7AT
Hybrid working is available and the work pattern is negotiable.Pay Rates
• PAYE: £24.03 per hour
• Umbrella/Ltd: £31.37 per hour
• Hours: 36 per week
• Start Date: 5 January 2026
• Duration: 26 WeeksAbout the Role
As a Population Health Management Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in embedding PHM approaches across Bexley Council and the Integrated Care System (ICS). This post bridges public health intelligence with NHS data-driven service planning to help reduce health inequalities and improve outcomes for residents.
You will support segmentation, forecasting, equity audits, and develop dashboards and automated reporting tools, contributing to analytical maturity across Public Health and ICB partners.Key Responsibilities
• Deliver analytical projects such as population segmentation, equity audits, and service redesign insights
• Translate JSNA and public health insights into actionable PHM intelligence
• Develop automated dashboards and real-time reporting pipelines
• Provide epidemiological and analytical expertise to Public Health and NHS partners
• Join and contribute to workstreams such as frailty and long-term conditions
• Support data governance, confidentiality, and IG standards
• Build analytical capacity across the system and support colleagues’ developmentPerson Specification
Essential:
• Strong applied data analysis skills (SQL, R, Python)
• Experience with clinical datasets, particularly primary care
• Knowledge of PHM methods: risk stratification, segmentation, impactability modelling
• Understanding of epidemiological and statistical techniques
• Ability to design dashboards and reporting systems
• Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
• Ability to work independently across organisational boundaries
Desirable:
• Postgraduate qualification in a numerate, data science, or public health subject
• Experience in public health intelligence within a public sector setting
• Working knowledge of equity analysis and forecastingAdditional Requirements
