Portfolio Manager

Job Title: IT Project / Portfolio Manager Process Automation Location: Remote (US EST Time Zone Preferred) Employment Type: Full-Time Contract 6 months W2 or C2C (Direct only no third parties) About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled IT Project and Portfolio Manager to lead and drive a diverse portfolio of global Process Automation technology projects. This role requires a strategic thinker with hands-on experience in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), capable of bridging the gap between technical software development teams and non-technical stakeholders. Key Responsibilities • Manage and oversee a portfolio of IT Process Automation projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with business goals. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software developers, business analysts, and external vendors. • Develop and maintain clear, concise, and insightful reports and dashboards to communicate project status, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders. • Translate complex technical data into understandable formats for non-technical audiences. • Drive adoption of automation technologies and processes to improve operational efficiency. • Ensure compliance with Life Sciences GxP standards where applicable. • Facilitate stakeholder engagement and buy-in through strong communication and influence. • Monitor project performance and implement corrective actions as needed to ensure successful delivery. Required Qualifications • Proven experience managing IT projects and portfolios, ideally in a global environment. • Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid). • Exceptional reporting and data visualization skills (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Excel). • Experience leading projects with process automation and technologies • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels. • Ability to work independently in a remote setting, with flexibility to collaborate across time zones. Preferred Qualifications • Experience in Life Sciences or GxP-regulated environments. • PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification. • Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, or similar.
