The candidate will assist with database management, performance optimization, and system reliability. Key Responsibilities Install, configure, and maintain PostgreSQL databases. Monitor database performance and optimize queries and indexes. Perform database backups, recovery, and disaster recovery planning. Ensure database security and user access management. Troubleshoot database issues and maintain system stability. Support database upgrades, patches, and maintenance activities. Utilize automation and AI-assisted database management tools where applicable. Required Qualifications Minimum 1 year of professional experience working with PostgreSQL. Knowledge of database performance tuning and monitoring. Experience with backup and recovery processes. Understanding of database security and access control. Familiarity with SQL and database design principles. Preferred Skills Experience with cloud-hosted databases (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Familiarity with database automation or scripting. Knowledge of Linux environments.
