Nordic seeking a Power BI Consultant with hands-on experience in Databricks to join our data-driven team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying interactive dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights to stakeholders. You will work closely with data engineers, analysts, and business teams to transform raw data into meaningful visualizations using Power BI, while leveraging Databricks for data processing and modeling.
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Design and develop scalable Power BI dashboards and reports tailored to business needs.
β’ Connect Power BI to Databricks and other data sources to extract, transform, and visualize data.
β’ Collaborate with data engineers to optimize data pipelines and ensure data quality.
β’ Translate business requirements into technical specifications and reporting solutions.
β’ Implement row-level security, DAX measures, and performance tuning in Power BI.
β’ Use Databricks (PySpark/SQL) to prepare and model large datasets for reporting.
β’ Provide training and support to end-users on Power BI tools and best practices.
β’ Stay current with Power BI and Databricks updates and recommend improvements.
Required Qualifications:
β’ Proven experience as a Power BI Developer or Consultant.
β’ Strong proficiency in Power BI (DAX, Power Query, data modeling, visualization).
β’ Hands-on experience with Databricks (SQL, PySpark, Delta Lake).
β’ Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
β’ Experience working with Azure Data Services (e.g., Azure Data Lake, Synapse) is a plus.
β’ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
