Power BI Developer
We are looking for an experienced Power BI Developer to join our data and analytics team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business intelligence, data modeling, and dashboard development, with a passion for transforming raw data into actionable insights through interactive visualizations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and deploy end-to-end analytics solutions using Power BI.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and create robust data models using DAX and Power Query.
• Develop interactive dashboards and reports that support effective storytelling and data-driven decision-making.
• Collaborate with stakeholders throughout the feature lifecycle—from analysis and design through deployment and support.
• Implement role-based access control (RBAC) and manage user permissions within Power BI.
• Work with relational cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake for data integration and modeling.
• Write and optimize advanced SQL queries, including CTEs, Window Functions, views, and PL/SQL blocks.
• Optimize report performance and implement query tuning strategies.
• Leverage Azure cloud services for data ingestion, processing, and storage.
• Apply knowledge of data warehousing design patterns, star schema, and ER modeling to build scalable BI solutions.
• Integrate version control tools for managing Power BI assets and SQL scripts.
Required Skills & Experience:
• 5+ years of hands-on experience working with Power BI.
• Strong expertise in data modeling, DAX, and dashboard/report development.
• Experience in end-to-end BI pipeline development and deployment.
• Familiarity with Big Data technologies such as Databricks, Scala/Spark is a plus.
• Solid understanding of SQL, data transformation, and aggregation techniques.
• Proven experience with cloud-based data platforms, especially Azure and Snowflake.
• Knowledge of version control and collaborative development practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
