We’re seeking a highly motivated and skilled Power BI Developer to join our analytics team onsite in Wichita, KS. You will play a vital role in transforming raw data into business intelligence that drives strategic and operational decisions. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys solving real business problems using data visualization and analytics. 🔑 Key Responsibilities • Data Acquisition & Preparation • Collect, clean, and transform structured and unstructured data from a variety of sources (ERP systems, databases, Excel files, APIs, etc.) • Create robust data models and queries using Power Query and DAX • Dashboard & Report Development • Build, publish, and maintain engaging Power BI dashboards and reports tailored to business needs • Implement row-level security, drill-throughs, bookmarks, and other advanced features for interactivity • Business & Stakeholder Collaboration • Partner with business teams to understand KPIs, metrics, and goals • Translate ambiguous business problems into clear data requirements and visual solutions • Conduct working sessions to train users on report usage and self-service capabilities • Performance Optimization • Tune data models and DAX queries to improve performance and refresh times • Monitor and troubleshoot Power BI service issues and refresh schedules • Documentation & Governance • Document data flows, report logic, and business definitions to ensure long-term maintainability • Help enforce data standards, consistency, and governance in reporting layers • Ad-hoc & Exploratory Analysis • Conduct deep-dive analyses on operational and financial datasets • Deliver actionable insights that support timely, data-informed decisions • Support & Maintenance • Maintain and improve existing reports and dashboards based on user feedback • Work with IT and BI teams to ensure data pipelines are reliable and secure ✅ Qualifications ✔ Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Power BI ✔ Proficiency in Power BI Desktop, Power Query, and DAX ✔ Strong in Advanced Excel (Power Pivot, formulas, models) ✔ Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases ✔ Ability to communicate insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences ✔ Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills ✔ Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder 🌟 Bonus Skills (Nice to Have) • Experience with Azure Data Services, SSIS, or Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps) • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum environments • Experience working with ERP or Supply Chain data
