Weβre seeking a highly motivated and skilled Power BI Developer to join our analytics team onsite in Wichita, KS. You will play a vital role in transforming raw data into business intelligence that drives strategic and operational decisions. π Key Responsibilities
β’ Data Acquisition & Preparation
β’ Collect, clean, and transform structured and unstructured data from a variety of sources (ERP systems, databases, Excel files, APIs, etc.)
β’ Create robust data models and queries using Power Query and DAX
β’ Dashboard & Report Development
β’ Build, publish, and maintain engaging Power BI dashboards and reports tailored to business needs
β’ Implement row-level security, drill-throughs, bookmarks, and other advanced features for interactivity
β’ Business & Stakeholder Collaboration
β’ Partner with business teams to understand KPIs, metrics, and goals
β’ Translate ambiguous business problems into clear data requirements and visual solutions
β’ Conduct working sessions to train users on report usage and self-service capabilities
β’ Performance Optimization
β’ Tune data models and DAX queries to improve performance and refresh times
β’ Monitor and troubleshoot Power BI service issues and refresh schedules
β’ Documentation & Governance
β’ Document data flows, report logic, and business definitions to ensure long-term maintainability
β’ Help enforce data standards, consistency, and governance in reporting layers
β’ Ad-hoc & Exploratory Analysis
β’ Conduct deep-dive analyses on operational and financial datasets
β’ Deliver actionable insights that support timely, data-informed decisions
β’ Support & Maintenance
β’ Maintain and improve existing reports and dashboards based on user feedback
β’ Work with IT and BI teams to ensure data pipelines are reliable and secure

Qualifications
β Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Power BI
β Proficiency in Power BI Desktop, Power Query, and DAX
β Strong in Advanced Excel (Power Pivot, formulas, models)
β Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases
β Ability to communicate insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
β Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
β Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder
π Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)
β’ Experience with Azure Data Services, SSIS, or Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps)
β’ Familiarity with Agile/Scrum environments
β’ Experience working with ERP or Supply Chain data
