Power BI Developer

Epitec POSITION: Power BI Developer JOB TYPE: W2 Full Time 24-month contract-option to go internal LOCATION: Peoria, IL JOB SUMMARY FOR POWER BI DEVELOPER: • Seeking a Power BI developer for a manufacturing client based out of Peoria, IL. • Onsite 5days/week M-F CST Full Time 8am-4:30pm • Pay Range: $54.79-$59.27hr RESPONSIBILITY FOR POWER BI DEVELOPER: • Understand and translate business requirements as it relates to Business Intelligence and data models into actionable insights • Design, develop, and maintain interactive and visually appealing dashboards and reports • Collaborate and engage stakeholders to understand their data needs in order to deliver quality business intelligence solutions • Provide visualization and analytics support to high profile Enterprise Strategy Division Projects • Use visualization and analytic methods to help the Parts Pricing Organization make data-driven decisions REQUIRED EXPERIENCE FOR POWER BI DEVELOPER: • Bachelor's degree in quantitative discipline (I.e. statistics, economics, mathematics, engineering, finance, computer science/information systems, business analytics, or similar) • 2-4 years of relevant experience required. • 2+ years of experience in previous BI role, with Power BI experience • Building and maintain dashboards • 1+ years of experience using SQL • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Experience with DAX, M code programming or Power BI data flows is highly desirable Experience with Power BI publication in online workspace • Proficiency in data extraction and transformation from various data sources • Expertise in report and dashboard Design for visually appealing and interactive reports SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS FOR POWER BI DEVELOPER: • Great communication skills (both oral and written) • Customer Service skills • Problem solving skills • Ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders • Detail oriented • Portfolio is desired BENEFITS Medical, Dental, PTO, Holiday tailored to meet your needs. 401K/Match, $15,000 Life Insurance, Award-Winning Employee Care Program.
