One of the largest ecological transformation companies is looking for a Power BI Developer / Data Analyst to join their Hybrid team in Paramus, NJ!
Our client is looking for a Power BI Developer / Data Analyst to join the team and support several ongoing projects. This role requires a hands-on professional who can go beyond dashboard creation to deliver technical, scalable, and business-driven data solutions. The ideal candidate will be proactive, collaborative, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with many moving pieces.
Contract Duration: 6-Month Contract with the opportunity for extension or conversion
Required Skills & Experience
β’ 5β10 years of combined experience as a Data Analyst and/or Power BI Developer.
β’ Strong expertise in Power BI, including advanced data modeling, DAX, and custom visual development.
β’ Minimum 2 years of experience with Microsoft Fabric and/or Microsoft Azure products.
β’ Intermediate to advanced proficiency in SQL.
β’ Experience implementing and automating Row Level Security (RLS).
What You Will Be Doing
Daily Responsibilities
β’ Design, develop, and maintain advanced Power BI solutions with custom features and automation.
β’ Work with very large and complex datasets, ensuring accuracy, scalability, and performance optimization.
β’ Implement and manage Row Level Security (RLS) within Power BI, including automation of RLS rules.
β’ Interface with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into data models, reports, and actionable insights.
β’ Utilize Microsoft Fabric and Azure products to enhance data integration and reporting capabilities.
β’ Write and optimize SQL queries to support data transformation and reporting.
β’ Provide guidance and recommendations on best practices for data analytics and visualization.
