Power BI Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Power BI Developer with approximately 5+ years of experience to design, develop, and maintain data-driven dashboards and reporting solutions. This role will play a critical part in transforming complex financial services data into actionable insights that support business decision-making. Responsibilities • Design, develop, and deploy interactive Power BI dashboards and reports tailored to business needs • Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable BI solutions • Build robust data models, DAX calculations, and data transformations for financial datasets • Integrate data from multiple sources including SQL databases, APIs, and enterprise systems • Develop KPIs and metrics for financial reporting (e.g., revenue, risk, portfolio performance, regulatory reporting) • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across dashboards • Optimize report performance and improve usability for business users • Support ongoing maintenance, enhancements, and troubleshooting of Power BI solutions • Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to enhance data pipelines and reporting capabilities Qualifications • 5+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or Power BI development Required Skills • Strong expertise in Power BI (Desktop, Service, and dataflows) • Advanced proficiency in DAX, Power Query (M language), and data modeling • Experience working with financial services data (banking, insurance, asset management, or fintech) • Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases • Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes • Ability to translate complex data into clear, business-friendly visualizations • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Preferred Skills • Experience with Azure (Synapse, Data Factory, or Databricks) • Familiarity with regulatory or financial reporting frameworks • Understanding of data governance and security best practices • Experience in Agile/Scrum environments
