Summary Of Position
We have a current project that will require a migration from one platform to another.
As a Power BI Developer, you will work collaboratively with Data Analysts, Data Scientists, and Data Engineers to define and implement the data-driven solutions that solve our clientsβ most pressing and valuable problems.
Since we are a growing team within a small consultancy, independence, autonomy, and a focus on self-learning are key requirements for all of our team members.
Job Specifications/Requirements
β’ BA/BS in a technical field (e.g., Statistics, Engineering, Biology, Physics)
β’ Experience as a Power BI Developer.
β’ Familiarity with an open-source, Data Science language (e.g., Python, R)
β’ Familiarity with using and creating dashboards using a business intelligence tool (e.g., Microsoft Power BI, Tableau)
β’ Knowledge of descriptive statistics, data analysis, and unsupervised and supervised algorithms
β’ Strong English-language speaking, presentation, and writing skills
β’ Project-based, team-oriented experience
β’ Demonstrated practice of independent study and learning
β’ Ability to Translate and communicate Analytical, Data Science, and Machine Learning concepts into client language and context
β’ Must be able to travel and work on site at local client sites if required.
β’ Eligibility and ability to successfully obtain a Public Trust.
Desired Skills
β’ 1-2 years of experience performing data analysis on structured data
β’ 1-2 years of experience creating data visualizations using a business intelligence tool (e.g., Microsoft Power BI, Tableau)
β’ 1-2 years of experience in Data Science or other technical field
β’ Exposure to or familiarity with SQL databases and executing queries (in MS SQL or other relational database management system)
β’ Exposure to or familiarity with AWS, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure for cloud computing
