Power BI Developer

Job Title: Power BI Developer (Contract) Location: Hybrid - West Yorkshire IR35 Status: Outside IR35 Duration: 3–6 Months Rate: DOE (Competitive Day Rate) Start date: Immediate About the Role: CTA are looking for an experienced Power BI Developer on a 3–6 month contract to deliver a defined suite of business-critical dashboards. A stable data warehouse (integrated from AS400 into Power BI) will be in place, with the focus on understanding the data model and building high-quality, interactive dashboards across multiple departments. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and deliver Power BI dashboards across Sales, Merchandising, Finance and Operations • Build sales and margin reporting (by channel, vs prior year, vs budget) with drill-down by SKU, customer, region • Create merchandising dashboards including stock analysis, backorder reconciliation and WSSI reporting • Produce finance dashboards including cash flow reporting and management accounts summaries • Develop warehouse/operations reporting including picking & packing KPIs, employee utilisation, SLA compliance and pick heat maps • Work with stakeholders to refine KPIs and ensure dashboards are intuitive and performance-optimised Requirements: • Experience working with ERP/legacy systems data (AS400 desirable) • Background in retail, wholesale, merchandising, finance or warehouse reporting environments • Strong DAX and data modelling expertise • Proven commercial experience delivering Power BI dashboard solutions • Strong stakeholder engagement skills • Previous contract experience preferred How To Apply: • To be considered, please submit your CV directly via the job advert.
