Job Description
We are seeking a Software Engineer with a strong background in software development, process improvement, and automation to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a key part in optimizing and automating critical IT processes, including vulnerability management, disaster recovery, and end-of-life software management, leveraging tools like Power BI and Power Automate to drive efficiency and reduce manual oversight.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead the optimization and automation of vulnerability management processes to improve tracking, integration into squad backlogs, and overall visibility.
• Streamline disaster recovery issue management by integrating processes with planned backlog work and enhancing reporting capabilities.
• Implement process improvements for SOP renewal, automating renewal alerts and guiding application teams to reduce manual intervention.
• Automate and manage end-of-life reporting processes, while coordinating with LOB IT leaders to update ServiceNow and Archer records.
• Act as the disaster recovery liaison, ensuring accurate documentation, on-time exercise plan submission, and defect correction.
Required Qualifications:
• Proficiency in: Power BI development (including Report Builder, Desktop, and Service), Microsoft Power Automate, Software development across various programming languages
• Lean Six Sigma (Greenbelt preferred; relevant experience acceptable)
• Undergraduate degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline
• 3–10 years of software development experience
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Preferred Qualifications
• Familiarity with: Requirements analysis, software reliability analysis, and software quality assurance. Integrating software with existing systems and data sources. Maintaining standards compliance and documenting processes.
• Experience with performance tuning, usability, and automation
• Project Management and Business Analysis skills
• Prior experience working in large enterprise IT environments
