We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Power BI Architect to design, develop, and implement analytics solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data visualization, business intelligence, and the BI platforms. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven insights and enable data-informed decision-making across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Design and Architecture
· Design scalable and efficient BI architectures to support business requirements.
· Define and implement data models, ETL processes, and reporting frameworks.
· Ensure BI solutions align with enterprise data strategies and governance policies.
Development and Implementation
· Responsible for managing complete project lifecycle- Initiation, Planning, Execution, Monitoring and Closure phases of the projects.
· Develop interactive dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights.
· Optimize BI reports for performance and usability.
· Integrate BI with various data sources such as SQL Server, Azure Data Services, and other cloud platforms.
Collaboration and Stakeholder Management
· Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
· Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and developers to deliver end-to-end BI solutions.
· Provide technical guidance and best practices to team members and stakeholders.
Governance and Security
· Implement BI security models, including row-level security and user access control.
· Ensure compliance with data privacy and security standards.
Continuous Improvement
· Stay updated with the latest BI features and industry trends to enhance solution capabilities.
· Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements.
Qualifications and Skills
Technical Skills
· Proficiency in Power BI: Expertise in creating dashboards, reports, data models, and visualizations.
· Strong SQL skills: Ability to write and optimize complex queries.
· Experience with data warehousing concepts and tools.
· Knowledge of DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) and M query language.
· Familiarity with cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud, especially in the context of BI solutions.
· Experience integrating Power BI with tools like SharePoint, Excel, or custom APIs.
· Experience in Qlik and conversion from Qlik to Power BI
· Experience with MS Fabric Power BI architecture design and configuration
Professional Experience
· Experience Level: Minimum 10 years of experience in BI development and architecture.
· Proven track record of delivering enterprise-grade BI solutions.
· Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices is a plus.
