Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Senior Power BI Developer to design, develop, and implement solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform suite, including Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, and SharePoint. The ideal candidate will have experience working with SAP financial and ERP data, and preferably Snowflake. This role involves working with complex data sets to improve business processes and support data-driven decision-making. The developer will report to the Principal of Finance Improvement and collaborate closely with finance stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards with strong data visualization and analytics.
β’ Build and optimize data models from scratch and enhance existing ones.
β’ Write and maintain SQL and Snowflake queries.
β’ Automate business processes using Power Automate and develop Canvas Power Apps.
β’ Integrate third-party APIs into centralized data systems.
β’ Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document user requirements.
β’ Establish and support a robust Power Platform environment strategy.
β’ Use Azure DevOps for version control and manage work items.
β’ Support and troubleshoot Power Platform applications and escalate issues as needed.
β’ Contribute to the development of standardized, cost-effective solutions.
Basic / Required Qualifications
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
β’ 5+ years of relevant technical experience.
β’ 3+ years of hands-on experience with Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate).
β’ Strong experience with SAP, especially financial and ERP data.
β’ Proficiency in data modeling, Dataverse, and database design.
β’ Experience with data connectors, APIs, and common data services.
β’ Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
β’ Microsoft Power Platform certification.
β’ Experience with Snowflake or other Microsoft Fabric data sources.
β’ Familiarity with DevOps and Jira.
β’ Scripting experience with Python or PowerShell.
β’ Strong UI/UX design skills for building user-friendly interfaces.
