Contract to hire / Direct hire Fully onsite in East Lansing, MI F2F interview in Michigan Job Title: Sr. Decision Scientist / Power BI Specialist Role Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Decision Scientist / Power BI Specialist with strong expertise in SQL, Data Modelling, and advanced Power BI development. The ideal candidate should have extensive hands-on experience building dashboards, reports, and enterprise-grade visualizations, along with Power BI administration and deployment experience. Key Responsibilities Design and develop interactive dashboards and visualization reports using Power BI Build reports using Power BI Desktop and Power BI Report Builder Develop and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and transformation Create data models and implement DAX calculations Manage and administer Power BI Service environments Handle Power BI deployment pipelines and DevOps processes Ensure governance, security, and performance optimization in Power BI Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into insights Required Skills Strong SQL skills Moderate understanding of Data Modelling Extensive experience in: o Power BI Desktop o Power BI Service o Power BI Report Builder Strong expertise in DAX Advanced data visualization and reporting experience Power BI Administration experience (mandatory) Experience in Power BI DevOps & Deployment pipelines Preferred / Good to Have Experience with MS Fabric Power BI with Git integration MS Fabric with Git integration
