Responsibilities
Kforce's client is seeking a PowerBI and Tableau Report Developer in Minneapolis, MN. Responsibilities include:
β’ Collaborate with IT teams and business experts to implement data-driven policies and initiatives throughout the enterprise
β’ Gather, clean, and prepare data for analytics and visualization
β’ Manage and use the Tableau platform to gain valuable insights
β’ Recognize business requirements in the context of BI and create data models to transform raw data into relevant insights
β’ Using Power BI, create dashboards and interactive visual reports
β’ Define key performance indicators (KPIs) using Tableau and Power BI with specific objectives and track them regularly
β’ Create reports using a variety of graphical and data modelling techniques
β’ Create new KPIs and monitor them consistently in datasets
β’ Gathering and normalizing data from multiple data sources; Create, test, and publish dashboards and reports, as well as schedule refreshes
β’ Define access controls and put security measures in place as needed
β’ Accurately drill deep into data and generate reports, actively control Tableau's performance and usability to get the desired outcome
β’ Designing wireframes and beta dashboards with an emphasis on user experience, consistency, and visibility
β’ Enhance the whole process of data management, collecting, dashboard design, and product life-cycle management
β’ Presents data and analysis in a clear and concise manner allowing the audience to quickly understand the results and recommendations so they activate upon them and make data driven decisions
β’ Troubleshooting any data or performance issues with workbooks and data sources
Requirements
5+ years of hands on experience with:
β’ Tableau
β’ Power BI
β’ SQL
β’ DB2
β’ SQL Server
β’ Demonstrated expertise in developing and operating Tableau-driven dashboards and analytics
β’ Ability to query and show massive data sets while optimizing workbook performance
β’ Ability to decipher technical or dashboard structure and translate complicated business needs into technical specifications
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
