Job Title: Power Bi with ThoughtSpot Location: Onsite Fosters City CA Job Type: Contract role Job Description: Primary Skills - Power BI, Power Apps, ThoughtSpot, SQL, developing and optimizing data models Experience 10 to 15 yrs Educational Qualification β€’ Any Bachelor's Degree Experience Range 6-10 years Primary (Must have skills) β€’ - To be Screened by TA Team 5+ years of experience in designing and developing interactive dashboards and reports using BI tools such as Tableau or ThoughtSpot. 5+ years of experience with SQL, including writing complex queries and optimizing performance. 3+ years of experience in developing and optimizing data models for efficient BI and analytics. 3+ years of hands-on experience working with PostgreSQL databases. 5+ years of experience analyzing business requirements and translating them into intuitive, impactful data visualizations. 1–2 years of knowledge/experience with data mesh concepts and platforms such as Starburst (preferred). Job Description of Role β€’ (RNR) - To be Evaluated by Technical Panel (Define it to give more clarity) Advanced customization skills in Tableau or ThoughtSpot (specific technology to be finalized by end of the week). Strong expertise in writing SQL scripts for complex datasets and developing data models. Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL. Knowledge of data mesh platforms such as Starburst (preferred). Strong attention to detail and understanding of best practices in dashboard and visualization development. Diligent in maintaining clear documentation. Soft skills/other skills - To be Evaluated by Hiring Manager (To define how this will be evaluated) Communication Skills: Communicate effectively with internal and customer stakeholders (technical and non-technical ) Communication approach: verbal, emails and instant messages Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain productive relationships with team members Provide constructive feedback during reviews and be open to receiving the feedback. Analytical mindset Task/ Work Updates Prior experience in working on Agile/Scrum projects with exposure to tools like Jira/Azure DevOps Provides regular updates, proactive and due diligent to carry out responsibilities Expected Outcome The BI Developer will deliver scalable, high-quality dashboards and reports that provide accurate, actionable insights. The role ensures solutions align with business needs, follow visualization best practices, are optimized for performance, and are well-documented for reusability and knowledge sharing.
