Our direct client is looking for a Power Platform Developer for a hybrid long term contract position in Washington, DC. NOTE: • Hybrid position. JOB DESCRIPTION: • The Power Platform Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing business solutions using Microsoft's Power Platform suite, including Power Apps, Power Automate and Power BI. • This role involves leveraging low-code/no-code capabilities to create custom applications, automate workflows, analyze and visualize data, and enhance business processes. • The developer will also support users, optimize system performance, and integrate various data sources and services. Duties and Responsibilities: • Create custom applications using Power Apps to meet specific business needs, including designing user interfaces, workflows, and data integrations. • Automating tasks and streamlining workflows using Power Automate, including connecting various applications and services to improve efficiency and reduce errors. • Designing and developing interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI to provide actionable insights from data. • Integrating data from various sources (Dataverse, SharePoint, Azure, databases, etc.) to ensure seamless data flow and efficient analysis. • Ensuring that Power Platform solutions adhere to security protocols, data governance policies, and relevant regulations. • Providing ongoing technical support, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing Power Platform solutions for optimal performance. • Keeping abreast of the latest features, updates, and best practices within the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem. • Working closely with business stakeholders, analysts, and other IT professionals to understand requirements, gather feedback, and deliver solutions that align with business objectives. • Assist power users in developing their own solutions using Power Platform tools. • Ensure best practices are followed and provide documentation for procedures and solutions. • Implement solutions integrating multiple data sources and services, including API and REST services. Education: • Bachelor s degree in IT or Computer Science or related field, Master s degree preferred Qualifications: • Ability to analyze complex problems, identify root causes, and devise effective solutions. • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders, team members, and end-users. • Microsoft Power Platform certifications, such as Power Platform App Maker or Power Platform Developer, can be highly beneficial. • Experience with API integrations and handling multiple data sources. • Familiarity with various content management systems and version control systems. SKILL MATRIX: • Strong understanding and hands-on experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI - Required • Knowledge of data modeling, database design, SQL, and data integration techniques - Required • Familiarity with programming languages like JavaScript, JSON, and potentially others like C# or Python for advanced customizations and integrations.- Required • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, Canvas Apps, Model-Driven Apps, and other Office 365 services. - Required Question 1: Is your candidate willing and able to report on-site to DC office 3x/week?
