Power Platform Developer 12 Months Contract Detroit, MI- Hybrid Only - W2 Candidates Key Responsibilities Power Platform Developer We are seeking a highly collaborative and business-focused Power Platform professional with strong experience in Power Apps, Power BI, and Power Automate. This role partners closely with cross-functional business units to design, build, and support solutions that improve operational efficiency, strengthen safety practices, and drive continuous process improvement. Power Platform Development • Design, develop, and maintain applications using Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven). • Build interactive dashboards and data models in Power BI to provide actionable insights. • Create automated workflows and integrations using Power Automate to streamline business processes. • Integrate Power Platform solutions with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams, and other enterprise systems. • Ensure solutions follow governance, security, and best-practice standards. Business Collaboration & Process Improvement • Partner with various business unit leaders and subject matter experts to gather requirements and understand operational workflows. • Learn and document business practices related to safety, compliance, and operational procedures. • Translate business needs into scalable technical solutions. • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce manual work, and enhance data visibility. • Support continuous improvement initiatives by leveraging data analytics and automation. Safety & Operational Excellence Focus • Develop tools that track safety metrics, inspections, incident reporting, and compliance activities. • Collaborate with safety teams to improve reporting accuracy and visibility. • Analyze operational data to identify trends and recommend process enhancements. • Support initiatives that promote a culture of safety and accountability.
