Role description
Position: Lead Power Apps Developer
Location: Dallas, TX
5 days onsite
Acceptable Time Zone (s): CST
Schedule: M-F 8-5 CST
Duration: 12 Months,
Contract to Hire, W2
Function of the group: : In commercial real estate space. Manager supports several business segments in that area and within that space they have high risk business technology apps.
Initiatives/Projects: We have About 60 HRBT SIRS , high risk technology apps that we have been asked to migrate over. These are databases created 20 years ago and no longer adhere to Client policies. With that, we are going to create those apps within our Power platform
Industry Background: Open to all backgrounds, access database experience/background a plus
Team Dynamic: This person will be individualized to start out with. They will partner with the Power Automate team and work closely with those individuals eventually once they have experience to understand the Client environment and other things. They will be working with SMEs like developers, POβs, BDSA.
Responsibilities:
β’ Resource will assist with building out identified HRBTs using modern technologies. These applications will be built on Clientβs Power Platform utilizing Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse.
β’ This resource will also lead a small team and train resources on these technologies.
β’ The resource will be working within our Power platform here . We have some apps that need to get moved over.
β’ Creating apps within our Power platform utilizing power apps, power automation, power BI by utilizing backend of Dataverse
β’ They will be interacting with other mnemonics; SQL server database will be stood up as well.
β’ If we do have to interact with any mnemonics or anything like that, then APIs would potentially have to be stood up to have that interaction.
β’ We are not Java, but .Net. So if the contractor needs to understand things or go through any code on previous existing apps, having the .net full stack is very useful.
β’ We are only expecting a couple of the apps to be done this year, but we want this contractor to be able to help get patterns established and out there to help stream other app transfers.
