Role description
PowerApps Developer | Aberdeen Advisors LLC Remote (EST/CST Hours Required) | Full-Time or Contract (1099/C2C) Aberdeen Advisors is a boutique managed services provider specializing in C-level digital strategy transformation. We're adding a hands-on PowerApps Developer to our technical team supporting enterprise client engagements across financial services, healthcare, and technology. What You'll Do: Build and maintain production-ready canvas Power Apps from scratch. Apply advanced Power Fx (filtering, patching, collections, variables). Integrate with SharePoint, Dataverse, and Power Automate. Troubleshoot real issues—gallery behavior, permissions, offline sync, PDF generation, performance. Collaborate across multiple concurrent client engagements. Required Qualifications • Proven experience delivering at least one production-ready Power App used by real users • Strong proficiency in Power Fx (formulas, filtering, patching, collections, variables) • Hands-on experience building canvas apps end-to-end (from blank app to production) • Solid working knowledge of SharePoint or Dataverse (attachments, choice/lookup fields, permissions, data modeling) • Experience integrating Power Apps with Power Automate • Ability to troubleshoot real-world issues: gallery filtering, form defaults, permissions, performance bottlenecks • Portfolio or demo of non-confidential app(s) you can walk through • Availability to work EST/CST business hours Preferred Qualifications • Big 4 consulting experience (Deloitte, PwC, EY, KPMG) or equivalent enterprise consulting background • Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate (PL-400) • Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Functional Consultant Associate (PL-200) • Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Fundamentals (PL-900) • Experience with component libraries and reusable design patterns • Familiarity with ALM, environment management, and version control • VS Code, Python scripting, Git, CI/CD experience • Agile/Scrum methodology experience • Finance, healthcare, or enterprise consulting background Why Aberdeen Join a lean, high-impact team where your technical expertise drives measurable outcomes for enterprise clients.
