Role description

The Report Developer plays a critical role in enhancing their data reporting and analytics capabilities. This position involves the development, implementation, and maintenance of reporting solutions that support data-driven decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate is highly skilled in report development tools, possesses a strong analytical background, and is passionate about transforming data into actionable insights.
Length: Contract-to-hire
Location: Seattle, WA (Remote, office 1 day/week)

Role & Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain reports and dashboards using reporting tools such as Salesforce, Power BI, or similar platforms.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and deliver comprehensive reporting solutions that meet business needs.
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data used in reports through thorough validation and testing processes.
• Optimize existing reports and processes for performance and efficiency.
• Provide technical support and training to users on accessing and interpreting report data.
• Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in reporting and data analysis to continually enhance reporting capabilities.
• Identify and lead efforts to improve data reliability, efficiency, and quality.
• Individual will be hands-on and contributing to project deliverables
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in report development or a similar analytical role.
• Demonstrated experience in designing, developing, and maintaining reports and dashboards.
• Solid understanding of data modeling and database design principles.
• Experience with data visualization and presentation techniques.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle).
• Strong skills in report development tools such as SSRS, Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
• Ability to translate business requirements into effective reporting solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, capable of working effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with data warehouse concepts and ETL processes.
