Job Title: PowerBuilder Developer (Remote - U.S. Only) Location: Remote (Must reside in the United States) Duration: Contract We are seeking a seasoned PowerBuilder Developer/Programmer to support application enhancements and defect fixes for legacy desktop applications across various business units. This is a full-time contract opportunity and fully remote, though candidates must reside within the United States and be available to work Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. CST. If you thrive in legacy environments, have strong debugging and problem-solving skills, and enjoy collaborating with cross-functional teams—this is the role for you! 🛠️ Key Responsibilities: • Enhance, maintain, and troubleshoot PowerBuilder applications. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including technical leads and business users. • Perform code review, unit testing, and support UAT/QA testing cycles. • Execute source control, change management, and release management processes. • Participate in Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews). • Provide effort estimation and communicate task progress/issues clearly. • Assist in modernization efforts including potential future Java migrations. • Document processes and perform knowledge transfer. ✅ Required Skills: • Strong hands-on experience with PowerBuilder. • Proficient in PL/SQL and database scripting. • Familiarity with PFC class libraries. • Experience with Client Server development (VB, Delphi, or PowerBuilder). • Proficiency in Git for source code management. • Solid SQL experience (CRUD operations, Views). • Experience working with Oracle databases. • Comfortable picking up legacy code and making updates/fixes. ⭐ Nice to Have: • Experience with JavaScript and modern frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue. • Prior involvement in legacy system modernization projects. 🕘 Work Schedule: • Must be available during business hours (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM CT, Mon–Fri) PriceSenz is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
