Role description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and data-driven Pricing Analyst to join our team at a leading medical manufacturing company. This role will be responsible for developing and analyzing pricing strategies, supporting revenue growth, and ensuring competitive pricing models across our product portfolio. You will collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Product Management, and Finance to optimize pricing structures for medical devices, equipment, and consumables.
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Analyze product pricing, margin, and profitability across various channels and customer segments.
β’ Develop and maintain pricing models and tools to support strategic pricing decisions.
β’ Collaborate with Product Management and Sales teams to evaluate pricing impacts of new product introductions, changes in cost, or market dynamics.
β’ Provide insights on competitor pricing and market trends through benchmarking and industry research.
β’ Review and validate customer quotations, bids, and contracts to ensure alignment with pricing policies.
β’ Support rebate and discount strategy analysis and modeling.
β’ Monitor and report on pricing performance metrics (e.g., margin improvement, price realization).
β’ Assist in ERP and pricing system updates to reflect accurate product pricing and changes.
β’ Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements, especially for government and healthcare contracts.
β’ Participate in cross-functional projects related to pricing, profitability, and business growth.
Qualifications:
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Mathematics, or related field.
β’ 2+ years of experience in pricing analysis, financial analysis, or similar role (preferably in medical device or manufacturing industry).
β’ Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools; experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and pricing software is a plus.
β’ Knowledge of pricing strategies in regulated industries (e.g., healthcare, med-tech) is highly preferred.
β’ Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
β’ Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills:
β’ Experience with medical manufacturing or life sciences industry.
β’ Familiarity with government pricing regulations
β’ Understanding of cost accounting and its relationship to pricing.
β’ Knowledge of business intelligence tools
Compensation: $30 to $35 an hour
