Role description
This position in onsite in Cincinatti, Ohio
We are looking to hire an experienced Data Engineer to develop new data features and provide support of data integrations and data products with more experienced engineers across disciplines. Specifically, building and maintaining integrations via ETL (DataStage) and data products (Snowflake).
Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.
Rate: $76-$84/ hr. w2
Responsibilities
β’ Design and implement effective database solutions and models to store and retrieve company data.
β’ Examine and identify database structural necessities by evaluating client operations, applications, and programming.
β’ Assess database implementation procedures to ensure they comply with internal and external regulations.
β’ Install and organize information systems to guarantee company functionality.
β’ Prepare accurate database design and architecture reports for management and executive teams.
β’ Oversee the migration of data from legacy systems to new solutions.
β’ Monitor the system performance by performing regular tests, troubleshooting and integrating new features.
β’ Recommend solutions to improve new and existing database systems.
β’ Educate staff members through training and individual support.
β’ Offer support by responding to system problems in a timely manner.
