Role description
We're looking for an experienced Principal Data Engineer from a FAANG/Product company with strong expertise in Snowflake, Databricks, Python/PySpark, SQL, Kafka, Azure/AWS, CI/CD, and enterprise-scale data platforms Must have worked with Facebook/Meta/Amazon/Apple/Netflix/Google or any top tier product company! Required Skills: β€’ Strong experience designing enterprise ETL/ELT Data Pipelines β€’ Snowflake, Databricks, dbt β€’ Python, PySpark, Advanced SQL β€’ Kafka / Event Hub / Spark Streaming β€’ Azure Data Stack (ADF, ADLS Gen2, Azure SQL, Key Vault) or AWS equivalent β€’ Airflow / Azure Data Factory β€’ Data Modeling (Star Schema, Snowflake, Data Vault, SCD Type 1/2) β€’ CI/CD, GitHub Actions / Azure DevOps β€’ Data Quality, Governance, Security (RBAC, PII, Data Lineage) β€’ Finance/Revenue Data domain (Billing, GL, Revenue Recognition, Reconciliation) What You'll Do: β€’ Design and lead enterprise-scale data platforms and Lakehouse architecture. β€’ Build scalable batch, streaming, and real-time data pipelines. β€’ Drive Snowflake/Databricks platform architecture and best practices. β€’ Implement data quality, governance, security, and observability. β€’ Mentor engineering teams and define enterprise data engineering standards. β€’ Partner with architects, product teams, and business stakeholders. Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
