Role description
The Alexander Technology Group is looking for a Principal/Lead Data engineer for a client in the New Hampshire area.
No 3rd party c2c applicants will be considered, do not reach out.
Short-term contract (3 month with a chance for extensions)
Qualifications:
Key Responsibilities
• Architect and implement dbt Mesh to enable scalable data mesh architecture and domain-based ownership
• Define and enforce data modeling standards using dbt and Snowflake, leveraging Kimball methodology and medallion architecture
• Consolidate reporting platforms and standardize enterprise analytics in Power BI (including migration from Sigma and other tools)
• Develop Streamlit applications using Python to replace legacy data-loading workflows and manual RLS mapping processes
• Mentor junior data engineers and enable ownership transfer of mission-critical data assets
