Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Principal Experience Designer to lead the development of exceptional user experiences across our digital platforms. Duties Lead the end-to-end design process for digital products, including user research, requirements gathering, wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing. Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, data analysts, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into innovative design solutions. Develop comprehensive information architecture, user flows, and interaction models that enhance usability and accessibility across diverse platforms. Apply best practices in responsive web design, motion graphics, and visual design to create compelling interfaces for web and mobile applications. Utilize advanced tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Axure, InVision, Zeplin, and Adobe Creative Suite to produce high-fidelity prototypes and visual assets. Conduct user research activities including A/B testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and data analysis using tools like Google Analytics 360 and Adobe Analytics to inform iterative improvements. Advocate for inclusive design principles by ensuring web accessibility standards are met or exceeded in all projects. Drive innovation through design thinking methodologies while maintaining adherence to SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) processes within Agile environments. Establish and promote design patterns that support consistency across multiple products and platforms. Present concepts clearly to stakeholders at all levels while championing user-centered design philosophies. Experience Extensive experience in experience design roles with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in UX/UI for web and mobile applications. Proficiency in front-end development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript frameworks including React and Angular. Proven ability to lead complex product development initiatives within Agile teams utilizing tools like Jira. Deep understanding of data visualization techniques using tools like Tableau or Power BI to enhance insights through visual storytelling. Hands-on experience with digital design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Dreamweaver, Balsamiq, Sketch, Axure RP, Zeplin, Adobe InDesign, and Unity is highly desirable. Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret web analytics data for continuous optimization. Knowledge of APIs (Application Programming Interfaces), RESTful services, SQL databases for integrating data-driven features into designs. Familiarity with content management systems like WordPress or Drupal for managing digital content effectively. Experience working within SDLC frameworks in Agile settings ensures timely delivery of high-quality solutions. Excellent communication skills coupled with a collaborative approach to foster innovation across cross-functional teams.
